Truck Accident Closes Lanes on 57

A tractor-trailer rollover on I-57 in Illinois closed the northbound passing lane for most of Thursday morning last week. The accident occurred just after midnight, and the driver escaped serious injury. Crews were forced to close all northbound lanes of 57 for about 15 minutes later in the day while workers removed the overturned semi. Officials were still investigating the cause of the one-vehicle crash as of this writing.
